October’s Dorking Talking
We’ve made it to October, and the season should be full of mists and mellow fruitfulness, but this year that means we’re only just slowly cooling and calming down from summer’s heat. Here in Dorking we’re still waiting for some significant rainfall to ease the parched land and restore the streams.
In this month’s Dorking Talking we hear about a blind 999 call handler, get help with downsizing, and take a trip down memory lane for marbles players. There’s a Paralympian in space, and the strain of socialising if you’re blind, as well as hops, pubs and pips.
